What is a target market/audience?

A target audience is the intended audience or readership of a publication, advertisement, or other message. In marketing and advertising, it is a specific group of people within the target market at which a product or the marketing message of a product is aimed.

I'm happy to say that my magazine is fit for anyone! You are never too old or too young to start learning about the ocean. Although some articles may be a little difficult to understand for kids, there are plenty of beautiful and interesting pictures for them to enjoy.
