Masthead: The masthead is almost always going to be on the top of the front page. This will be one of the most eye catching elements.

Main Text: This lets the readers now what you're magazine is going to be focused around. However, the most important element of this is the first word or the title of the text. This should stand out from the rest of the words by being a different color or font.

Text Font: The font needs to be sleek and simple, yet still eye catching. Too many different fonts used at once can be overwhelming.

Text Color: It's important that the color of the font contrasts with the background of the page in order to stand out to the reader. It's easier on the eyes and looks appealing.

Barcode: The barcode is usually on the bottom right of the page
